Khums donations made through the Society are routed under religious supervision. Below is our marja affiliation, Wakil contact, and any Ijaza scans available.

Marja affiliation under trustee declaration

Our trustees are finalising the formal declaration of the marja we follow and the Wakil who oversees Khums distribution. These details will be published here once confirmed.

Marja

The marja-e-taqlid the Society follows for Khums oversight — to be confirmed by trustee declaration.

Wakil oversight

The appointed Wakil in Lucknow / India who receives and distributes Sahm-e-Imam — contact to be published.

Ijaza chain

The scanned letter of authorization (Ijaza), where obtained, evidencing the chain of religious permission.

How Khums donations move under religious supervision

Donor pays Khums via the Society's Razorpay flow or UPI.
Half (Sahm-e-Imam) is routed to our marja's Wakil for distribution as per the marja's directives.
Half (Sahm-e-Saadat) is distributed to verified Sadat in the community per fiqh — preference to local Indira Nagar / Lucknow Saadat first.
Receipts and ledger entries are filed annually for marja-Wakil reconciliation.

Donors with complex Khums situations (Khums-on-Khums, deferred payments, ma'una vs ribh) are encouraged to consult an Aalim before paying — our calculator is a guide, not a fatwa.
