1. Identity of the Data Fiduciary

2. Data we collect
Name, email, phone, address (donation, contact, volunteer forms). PAN (when 80G certificate is requested). IP address and basic device information (server logs). Cookies — see §10.
3. Purposes of processing
Donation receipt and Form 10BE issuance (statutory). Communication about programmes you have subscribed to. Statutory compliance — Form 10BD filing, Income Tax records. Fraud prevention and security.
4. Legal basis
Consent + legitimate use under the DPDP Act, 2023 — specifically for donation receipt and statutory tax-deduction compliance.
5. Third-party processors
Razorpay (payments) — RBI-licensed. Resend (transactional email). Cloudflare (CDN, DDoS). MSG91 (DLT-compliant SMS). Google Analytics 4 (consent-gated). Microsoft Clarity (consent-gated, IP-masked).
6. Data retention
Donation records: 8 years (Income Tax Act). Other personal data: anonymised within 3 years after last interaction.
7. Your rights as a Data Principal
Access your data. Correct inaccuracies. Erase data, except where statutorily retained. Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.
8. Withdraw consent
Email grievance@gulistanemehdi.com with the subject "Withdraw consent." We will action within 7 working days.
9. Children's data
Donations from individuals under 18 are not accepted. Beneficiary children's photos appear with verifiable parental consent, marked in our Stories collection.
10. Cookies
Necessary cookies are always on. Analytics and marketing cookies require consent via the cookie banner shown on first visit.
11. Breach notification
We commit to notifying the Data Protection Board within 72 hours of becoming aware of any breach of personal data, and to affected donors as soon as practicable thereafter.
